Eastern – Yorkshire Ridings – Weekend in Yorkshire

The Eastern Region have teaned up with The Yorkshire Ridings Group for a weekend in ‘God’s Own Country’ ,North Yorkshire. The 3 day weekend will consist of the following:
Day 1: Meet at the Premier Inn, Pullover Roundabout, Kings Lynn, PE32 1LY at 10:00hrs
Leave Kings Lynn at 10:15 – Following the A17 to towards Boston, then picking up the A16 at Sutterton, we will then follow the A16 Northwards, through the
Lincolnshire Wolds before picking up the A18, A1173, A180 and A15, after crossing the Humber Bridge we will make our way towards Beverley, Driffield and
Malton beofre reaching our destination at the Premier Inn, Pickering. (Note: if time allows we can make a slight detour to visit Matthewsons, (Bangers and Cash)
at Thornton – Le – Dale, prior to booking in at Pickering.
Day 2: An 80 mile journey north and over the North York Moors towards Saltburn before turning back towards Pickering on the return leg.
Day 3: A short hop to the Eden Camp Modern History Museum, near Malton for a tour of this most impressive and very large living history site, before the return journey home.
