DESCRIPTION:Jim & Jayne’s “1st Annual Wild Goose Chase” “Run” \nDate – Sunday July 6th\nMeeting place – Lerryn Car Park (it’s free too !)\nTime – 2:30pm meet up for 3:00pm (-ish) start\nLerryn has decent facilities – The Ship Inn Lerryn for those that might want lunch or refreshments beforehand\, a small shop for snacks/teas (they shut at 3pm) and there is a village green with picnic benches for those that want to bring their own lunch\nPublic toilets are nearby (they are free too !)\nThose that fancy a pub meal beforehand – please organise that amongst yourselves – you know who you are ? \nWhat to expect – \nThere are no rules ! There is no set route to follow ! \nYou can work alone\, in couples\, in teams or just follow the car in front \nOn the day\, you will be given the clues to 6 or so puzzles to “solve” … but a few days before the run I will send out a series of “what3words” locations which will help plan a route for those “adventurers” who wish to use Sat Navs along with a brief map for those that want to plot a route on an old school road map. These will guide you to various locations in the Lerryn\, Bodmin\, St. Neot\, Dobwalls area. These locations will guide you to an area where you can park up and hunt for the answers which will be no more than 50 yds away and not one should take more than 5 mins to locate. \nThe run will take approx 2 hours (depending on how clever you are) and cover around 30 miles to finish back in Lerryn for a cheeky drink in the village pub for the “prize” giving ceremony !
