DESCRIPTION:This is our Annual Late Summer BBQ & Car Show specifically for members of the Milton Keynes & Chilterns Area. \nThe cost of the BBQ is £15 pp \nThere is a small entrance fee of £5 to cover the costs of the Car Show Rosettes and the hire of the Marque for the evening. \nThe cars show is specifically ‘The Best Kept’ car in it’s category (NA\, NB\, NC & ND) so age is taken into account. SUMMARY:Milton Keynes & Chilterns - The 'Wiltshire Weekend'  Runs & Overnight Stay
DESCRIPTION:This will be our 3rd ‘Wiltshire Weekend’. \nThe weekend starts with a run\, with a comfort break half way\, down to a Lunch location (tba) in Wiltshire. \nAfter lunch we embark on a 2nd run with an end destination of Marlborough.  For those staying overnight\, most will use the the Premier Inn in Marlborough. but that is entirely up to individuals. \nWe have an evening BBQ planned for Saturday at our former members (Judith and Alastair) house in Marlborough (5mins from the Premier Inn). \nAfter breakfast we’ll do a 3rd run to a lunch location (tba) before making our individual ways the rest of the way home. \nMore details will be available nearer the time. However\, if you wish to stay over it is best to get your rooms booked early.

DESCRIPTION:This is a run to the Midland Air Museum\, Rowley Rd\, Baginton. Warwickshire CV3 4FR \nWe’ll meet at Mursley Farm Shop\, Whaddon Rd\, Mursley at 10:00 and park together in the car park (to the left).  We aim to depart at 10:30. \nIf you wish to have a Breakfast or just a coffee\, please arrive at 09:00 (as it gets very busy at weekends). \nThe run will be approx. 1.5hrs and approx. 50 miles. \nThere is a charge of £10.50 for adults or £9.75 for OAP/Students to enter the museum\, details can be found using this link Midland Air Museum \nWe have stated a finish time but this is entirely based on how long you stay at the Museum \n  \nThe Museum is located near Baginton Village on Rowley Road\, adjacent to the northern boundary of Coventry Airport\, south of the A45. We’re easy to find and the Museum is well signposted from the A45. Once on the road between the A45 roundabout and Baginton village you can’t miss us\, or our Vulcan! \nFree car parking is provided for up to 100 vehicles (including coaches)\, with several spaces closest to the entrance reserved for Disabled Badge holders.

DESCRIPTION:The start location will be ASDA Supercenter Car Park (Petrol Station Entrance)\, H10 Bletcham Way\, Bletchley\, MK1 1QB (google MK1 1ST). (Next to IKEA) \n10am meet for 10.15 Briefing and 10:30 Departure. \nThis is an approx 45mile run\, that will take approx 2hr\, to Waterperry Gardens\, near Wheatley Oxfordshire\, OX33 1JZ to enjoy the Fritillary season and the rest of the beautiful riverside gardens. There is a Cafe’ on site so a lunch or lite bite can be purchased.\nThere are also a number of other attractions and shops to enjoy. \nThe route will snake westward from Bletchley\, North of Buckingham to Stowe and then south\, skirting the eastern edge of Bicester and on southward to Waterperry. All via A and B roads. \nFull navigation Instructions are provided and there is the possibility of a GPX route download\, if you are familiar with the bikeGPX phone App. \nMore Info about Waterperry Gardens: \nMade famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971\, it’s now home to 20 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens\, a quality plant centre and garden shop\, gallery and gift shop\, museum and tea shop. \nSee the county flower of Oxfordshire in all its native splendour as it flowers in our wildflower meadow and riverside walk throughout April. \nPLEASE NOTE:\nThere is an entrance charge of £12.50pp (Adult) to enter the landscaped Gardens\, where the Fritillary’s are located\, but access to the rest of the estate\, including the Tea Room\, and a number of shops is free. \nPlease note dogs are allowed on a short lead around the estate and garden centre but are NOT allowed within the paid entrance ornamental gardens.

DESCRIPTION:* Please Note: We have changed the start location for this run \nThis is a run of approx 53 Miles from The Grand Junction Arms Pub (Car Park)\, Bulbourne Nr Tring HP23 5QE to Mursley Farm Shop\nOliver’s Field\, Whaddon Rd\, Mursley\, Milton Keynes MK17 0PL. \nFull written instructions will be provided along with a GPX file for use with a GPS App (e.g. BikeGPX) \nFor those wishing to have breakfast before we depart\, the Pub opens at 09:30 and we have booked 12 places from 10:00\, so please let me know if you wish to have breakfast / Brunch / Coffee as it can get very busy. \nWe will assemble at 10:00 for those having breakfast and 11:15 for those who are not breakfasting\, with a proposed departure time of 12:00. \nOur destination is the Mursley Farm Shop where we will have a late lunch / cake etc. at 14:30.
