The cafe will be open for you to have a late breakfast or a drink before we start our drive. \nWe should arrive at Thornbridge Estate at around 12.15pm. Our Cream Tea in the Quackers Cafe will be in a reserved area in their Cafe at 12.30pm\, with a choice of sweet or savory homemade scone’s. With time to look around the gardens before the House Tour at 2.00pm. There will be time to visit the gardens after your house tour. The gardens and cafe close at 4.00pm. \nThis is an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens and expansive views surrounding an eccentric stately home in the heart of the Peak District. This is also the home of the famous Bakewell Love Locks. \nThe famously quirky Thornbridge Hall is surrounded by quintessentially English formal gardens. DESCRIPTION:Tracy and Rich would like to invite you to join them on a drive out to Eccleshell\, a treasure hunt and Sunday lunch. \nUPDATE: Menu choices required by SUNDAY 6TH JULY. If you have ordered roast\, can you confirm if you want BEEF or GAMMON. Please post your choices on the forum. Link below. \nMeeting at Barton Marina\, to leave at 10am and have a drive through picturesque villages for approx 90 minutes. Upon arrival in Eccleshall there will be an opportunity for drinks and comfort stop at The Kings Arms. Following this we will start the treasure hunt on foot in teams around the town\, this should take around 90 minutes to complete. We will then meet back in The Kings Arms for Sunday lunch at 2pm. \nIf you don’t want to participate in the treasure hunt\, Eccleshall is a lovely little market town\, so you could spend some time wandering around whilst others try to solve the clues. \nA pre order for food is required by Sunday 6th July\, please see menu on the forum or there is a choice of roast with 3 sizes\, Jester £11.95\, Queens £16.95 and Kings £19.95. \nIf the weather is not suitable to complete the treasure hunt they will plan a longer drive with a stop off somewhere for refreshments mid way through\, then end up at The Kings Arms for lunch at 2pm. \nPlease add your name’s and menu choice on the forum if you would like to join Tracy and Rich.
