DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone\, \nThe Breakfast Drive has just been finalised\, as Diane & Terry recently did the Recce Drive and the details for the first drive of 2025\, which is to be a “Breakfast Drive” is on Sunday 5th January\, the details of which\, are as follows; \nRendevous Point: Botleigh Grange (Pictured below)\, Grange Rd\, Hedge End\, Southampton SO30 2GA \nWhat3Words: gaps.share.codes \nRendevous Time: 09:30 onwards – where we can all indulge in Bacon Baps and coffee or Tea £5. \nOr\, alternatively\, a Sausage Bap with Coffee or Tea £5 \nThere is also a “Vegetarian Option” of an Egg Bap with Coffee or Tea for £5 \nA Sausage\, or Egg can be added to your Bap for £1.50 per item – what’s not to like! \nPLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST GIVING US YOUR BREAKFAST BAP CHOICES\, TO ASSIST BOTLEIGH GRANGE\, FOR CATERING PURPOSES.  \nDeparture Time: 10:30 \nNB-1: After sampling the culinary delights of Breakfast Baps in the Executive Lounge and Diane & Terry having proved the drive route\, we will hand out Tulip Directions at Botleigh Grange\, prior to our departure \nDrive Length: Approx 47.2 miles (1 hr 45 mins) \nNB-2: The recce drive was a bit soggy in places and Terry said it was very reminiscent of his famous “Wet Run” in a few places but not quite as bad There is also a Ford to negotiate on the route but rest assured if we have a lot of rain between now and the date of the drive you will not have to negotiate the Ford\, we will navigate around it \nArrival Time at The Guild\, Wiltshire (Formerly Wilton Outlet Centre): 12:15 approx. \nNB-3: Since becoming The Guild\, the Outlet Village has reduced in size and on a Sunday only the Pavers Shoe Shop and Wilton Coffee Shop will be open. \nSo\, as an alternative\, you have the choice of either The Guild\, or there is Wilton House Garden Centre\, on the A36\, just before The Guild and they have a Restaurant where you can indulge in lunch\, or a snack\, as desired \nBest Regards \nTeam Solent

DESCRIPTION:As per previous years\, when both the weather and dark evenings are not conducive to Evening Drives\, we are returning to The Hollywood Bowl Eastleigh for an entertaining evening of bowling.\n\nEvent Details;\nDate & Time: Wednesday 15th January 2025 at 7:45pm \nVenue: Hollywood Bowl\, The Swan Centre\, Eastleigh\, Hants. SO50 5SF \nNB: Please arrive by 7.30pm\, as the game starts promptly at 7.45pm and you will need to get fitted out with suitable footwear before the game(s). \nCost: £10/person (£2 cheaper than last year)\, which gives you two games and includes a free drink and shoe hire. \nIf you wish to bowl\, you will need to pay in advance via PayPal\, at the latest by Sunday 12th January\, by paypal to; solent@mx5oc.co.uk in order that we can pay Hollywood Bowl in one go\, as a group. \nIf you’ve never bowled before\, please just come along and join us to see what it’s all about\, as it’s been a popular and great event\, enjoyed by all in the past – and we could do with a good laugh ? \nThere are plenty of eateries nearby\, within the Swan Centre\, if you wish to partake in some culinary delights elsewhere before the Bowling but for those that can get to the Swan Centre beforehand\, a group of us will be venturing to Prezzo in the Swan Centre\, as before\, at 6:15pm for supper and chat prior to the bowling. To this end\, please respond to this post confirming your attendance and also letting us know if you will be joining us for supper at Prezzo\, so a table can be booked.
