DESCRIPTION:Meet at the Scotch Corner services at 9am. Run starts at 9.30am \nWe will be heading south on mainly C” roads. A brief stop at Thornborough Henges. (The Stonehenge of the North) before continuing onto the Swinton Estate. We will stop for a comfort break at High Knowle. (Car parking charge could apply) The Druids Temple is a folly on the estate and is a 10 minute walk from the car park. From here we intend to head to Reeth where we can have a picnic or visit one of the many pubs for lunch. Our final leg will take us through the Stang Forrest and over the Tees past Egglestone Abbey before arriving for an ice cream at New Moor Farm. From here there is easy access to A1 North & South and A66 West. \nApproximately a 90 miles run and mainly on backroads.” \nStop 1 Swinton Bivouac. LS17 9LG \nWe at the MX-5 Owners Club Tyne Tees have for a long time been asking for an event in or around our area\, now we have one lets show our support and have a record number of our Tyne Tees members at this event. \nWe have a gate opening time at Harewood House of 9.30am \nWe will have 3 start points for our area members \nNorth Members Meet & Greet at the Ridley Arms Stannington NE61 6EL at 7am for 7.10am run start to Washington services. Meeting up with the Central Area. \nCentral Members Meet & Greet at the Washington Services South Bound 7.30am for 7.45am run to Scotch Corner.  Meeting up with the South Area Members. \nSouth Area Members Meet & Greet at Scotch Corner Services 8.15am for run start to Harewood House 8.30am so we can get to Harewood House for approximately 9.30am \n  \nWe do require volunteers to assist with the events during the day.

DESCRIPTION:Update 24th May \nWe have been allocated the Coach park for our parking at the Raby Castle. Please do not park in the carpark. The coach park is sign posted. \nOur final meals list has now been emailed to Raby Castle. You can still put your name down to attend this event. \nGary Parker has kindly offered to organise and lead this event. \nWe will meet and Greet at Raby Castle for Tea / Coffee and a breakfast sandwich at 9am (Optional) \nFor the members who are not having breakfast at Raby Castle Meet and Greet at 9.30am \nThe run will start at 10am\, we will be heading North on mainly “C” roads towards Hamsterley before heading West and stopping at the Dales Centre Stanhope for a comfort break. A second comfort break at Garrigill before heading over to Heartside Pass. We will hug the edge of the pennines (weather permitting) for the fine views of Cross Fell / High Nick before heading back to Staindrop and Raby Castle. \nRaby Castle Catering. \nBreakfast sandwich with tea / coffee £9.00 \nCream tea   tea / coffee with Cream Scone £8.50 \nRaby Castle would like our final numbers for catering 8 weeks in advance \nWe are asking members who wish to go on this event and request the breakfast sandwich with tea / coffee and the afternoon tea and cream tea for £17.50 per person to pay for this at least 4 weeks in advance. Sorry but this will be non refundable. We have to pay Raby Castle 4 weeks in advance for all meals ordered. \n  \n
