We will take in Rievaulx Abbey\, Bylands Abbey before reaching Ampleforth Abbey for lunch. Return via Thirsk and under hill villages another 40 miles. \n

DESCRIPTION:After a meeting with the Middlesbrough District Motor Club chairman and a couple of the clubs committee we were asked about having an Open day at the club. The club can get to know us and visa versa. We propose to have our MX-5s on show in the grounds and a picnic by our cars weather permitting. The members of the club will also be invited to come along to the club and look at our cars. We will meet and greet at approximately 12 noon on Sunday 8th June at the club. Everyone is welcome\, Children and grandchildren included. DESCRIPTION:Updated 17th June 2025 \nWe are adding another meet and greet point at Scotch Corner on Saturday 21st June at 8.15am with a set off time to Penrith of 8.45am \nA lakes event which is a pick & mix starting from Penrith Premier Inn CA11 7FG \nTwo easy runs in the Lakes starting from Penrith Premier Inn. \n  \n  \nDo the Saturday or Sunday runs or make a week end of it\, do both event runs and stay over at the Premier Inn at Penrith (Please book your room early direct with the Premier Inn) \n  \nThe choice is yours. \nA short walk away from the Premier Inn are plenty of bars and places to eat. Sainsbury’s is next door for purchasing a packed lunch. \nSaturday 21st June Event Route. \nApproximately 97 miles \nMeet and Greet 9.30am outside the Premier Inn. New Squares\, 2 Common Gardens Square\, Penrith CA11 7FG. for a 10am start. Route maps will be available on the day. \nStop 1.         10 minute Comfort Break at The Oddfellows Arms\, Calbeck CA7 8EB \nStop 2.         30minute Tea/Coffee break at Lake District Castle Inn.
