DESCRIPTION:Our Christmas Event this year will be held at the Smith Jaques Studio;; 92 Marsh House Road at Billingham. TS23 3AA. on Friday December 13th. \nThere is a bar open 7pm till 11pm \nA 2 course buffet meal of real quality. \nSinger Eric Robinson to entertain us with some of our favourite songs from the 60’s 70’s 80’s \nThere will be a raffle;; a Christmas quiz;; Carol singing (12 days of Christmas) Dancing to your favourite party music. \nThe room holds 70 to 100 people comfortably;; we have said 70 people for now as last year in the Anson farm we had 46 people and we had to turn members away. \nFor the people from the central and North of the area there is a Premier Inn at A19 Wolviston interchange approximately 1 mile from the venue. A one night stay when i looked on the web site was £48 per room. \nThis event will be open to non members as well so bring your friends if you wish. Please get your names down for this event early to avoid disappointment. \n

The Yorkshire Air Museum has informed us they are expecting a large number of people to be at the Museum so packed lunches may be a better option than using the naffe. \nAndrew Chaplin has kindly offered to organise and lead an event to the Yorkshire Air Museum on Sunday 23rd March. \nAdmission to Yorkshire Air Museum is £15 per person. \nTo sit in a cockpit and explained some of the controls etc is £7 per person. \nMeet & Greet at the Anson Farm at 9.30am for a 10am event start. \nThe Yorkshire Air Museum has a special rate for groups of over 10 vehicles of £12 per vehicle + 1 driver\,  additional passenger £12 \nThe route tullip map issued on the day.

Please pay with cash. \nOriginal Event description \n  \nThis event is in Memorial to Ray Lilburn. A true gentleman and much respected active member of the MX-5 Owners Club Tyne Tees. We are hoping for a large turnout for this event. \nMeet and Greet 10am for a 10.30am start from the Anson Farm Middlesbrough;; this event will be lead by Brian & Veronica Crowther. \nWe will leave the Anson Farm and head to Stokesley;; from Stokesley we will travel along unnamed roads to Easby;; Battersby;; Kildale;; Commondale;; Castleton;; and onto Lealholm YO21 2AQ for our first (15 minute) Comfort break. We will then leave Lealholme and head for Goathland again along unnamed roads. Arrive at Goathland YO22 5AL at approximately 12.30pm. \nWe will stay in Goathland for approximately 2 hours so plenty of time to take in the beautiful village and visit the tea room where you can pre order your afternoon food when you book onto this event. We recommend the afternoon tea it’s beautiful. Menu and prices are on our monthly email. We have now sent our food order to the tea room\, if you want food at the tea room and have not ordered you can still get food by placing your order on the day at the tearoom. \nWe leave Goathland and travel to Pickering and onto our final comfort break at Hutton le Hole YO62 6UA \nWe leave Hutton le Hole and travel back via Stokesley to the Middlesbrough District Motor Club at Coulby Newham TS8 0RP a new venue to the MX-5 Owners Club Tyne Tees where we hope you will join us for refreshments. \nTulip Maps will be available on the day.

(The Stonehenge of the North) before continuing onto the Swinton Estate. We will stop for a comfort break at High Knowle. (Car parking charge could apply) The Druids Temple is a folly on the estate and is a 10 minute walk from the car park. From here we intend to head to Reeth where we can have a picnic or visit one of the many pubs for lunch. Our final leg will take us through the Stang Forrest and over the Tees past Egglestone Abbey before arriving for an ice cream at New Moor Farm. DESCRIPTION:Update 24th May \nWe have been allocated the Coach park for our parking at the Raby Castle. Please do not park in the carpark. The coach park is sign posted. \nOur final meals list has now been emailed to Raby Castle. You can still put your name down to attend this event. \nGary Parker has kindly offered to organise and lead this event. \nWe will meet and Greet at Raby Castle for Tea / Coffee and a breakfast sandwich at 9am (Optional) \nFor the members who are not having breakfast at Raby Castle Meet and Greet at 9.30am \nThe run will start at 10am\, we will be heading North on mainly “C” roads towards Hamsterley before heading West and stopping at the Dales Centre Stanhope for a comfort break. A second comfort break at Garrigill before heading over to Heartside Pass. We will hug the edge of the pennines (weather permitting) for the fine views of Cross Fell / High Nick before heading back to Staindrop and Raby Castle. \nRaby Castle Catering. \nBreakfast sandwich with tea / coffee £9.00 \nCream tea   tea / coffee with Cream Scone £8.50 \nRaby Castle would like our final numbers for catering 8 weeks in advance \nWe are asking members who wish to go on this event and request the breakfast sandwich with tea / coffee and the afternoon tea and cream tea for £17.50 per person to pay for this at least 4 weeks in advance. Sorry but this will be non refundable. We have to pay Raby Castle 4 weeks in advance for all meals ordered. \n  \n

We will take in Rievaulx Abbey\, Bylands Abbey before reaching Ampleforth Abbey for lunch. Return via Thirsk and under hill villages another 40 miles. \n

DESCRIPTION:After a meeting with the Middlesbrough District Motor Club chairman and a couple of the clubs committee we were asked about having an Open day at the club. The club can get to know us and visa versa. We propose to have our MX-5s on show in the grounds and a picnic by our cars weather permitting. The members of the club will also be invited to come along to the club and look at our cars. We will meet and greet at approximately 12 noon on Sunday 8th June at the club. Everyone is welcome\, Children and grandchildren included.
