DESCRIPTION:Updated 1st February \nBrian Fish has kindly offered to lead this event to Duncombe Park. \nI finally got an email back from the organisers of the Duncombe Park Steam & Vintage Rally Organisers. I have entry forms which I can send to you upon your request to attend. Entry forms must be to them by 3rd May. No late entries will be accepted. Our entry forms you must print MX-5 Owners Club at the top and the returning stamped addressed envelope must also be A5 size. The return address to send our forms is GYTEC 2025. PO Box 245. Catterick Garrison. North Yorkshire. DL10 9FE. All our cars for this event must be in place by 10am so it will be a meet & greet at 7.45am for a 8am run start from the Manor House\, Maltby to get to Duncombe park for approximately 9am giving ourselves plenty of time to get into position. \nI will send out via your booking email in my monthly email the appication form. The application for must be filled in in full otherwise it will be rejected. I will have a Public Liability insurance copy  which will be produced on the day. \nAll details will be published asap

We will head out towards Rievaulx Abbey throgh Bilsdale for tea / coffee and Comfort break. Taking in Byland Abbey and the White Horse. We will stop for lunch in Felix kirk\, this was very popular last year. We will then head off on some minor roads to pick up the A19\, A172 and then back to Middlesbrough District Motor Club. \nRoute is approximately 75 miles but may vary slightly.

The buffet style meal which is absolutely beautiful and of real quality. The dancing is Ballroom\, Latin and Sequence. The dress code is smart casual and the tickets are £25.00 each. DESCRIPTION:This is our third Charity event which we will be held at S.G. Petch and is one of the favourite events of many MX-5 Owners Club Tyne Tees members enjoy most. This event is open to non members as well. Last year we raised £800 which was divided equally between 2 charities The Teesside hospice and The British Heart Foundation\, these 2 charities were picked by our Tyne Tees members. This Year we will be donating to our 6 nominated area charities. \nThe event will again be held at S.G. Petch dealership\, Mc Mullen Road\, Darlington. DL1 1XZ \nThis event is on Saturday 26th July and starts at 9.30am. We will have the usual fund raising events. A Raffle with many great prizes. Food and soft drinks all provided by S.G. Petch. \nAt 12 noon we will start our events run and depending on numbers will be split into 3 or 4 groups. Tulip maps will be available on the day. We will end this event at the Middlesbrough District Motor Club were if weather and ground permits we will show our cars on the club grassed area. \nThis event has not got to be missed. \n  \n

Tyne Tees versus Scotland rounders game the equivalent to the Ashes in cricket. We need volunteers to play for our Tyne Tees area. Mick Fisher is our team catain again. Mick also will lead our Mx-5’s on route to Holy Island. \nThe causeway to Holy Island is open from 12 noon till 20.25 according to the Northumberland County Website\, Holy Island Safe Crossing times. \nOther areas are looking to join us for this event and would love to join in and play. \nYou can attend this event and travel there and back in a day or do what we have done in the past and stay at a hotel over night. \nThe Bluebell hotel\, Belford has rooms from £98 with breakfast and free cancellation until 15th August. DESCRIPTION:Edited 24th September \nChristmas Event at Smith Jaques Dance Studio Billingham on Friday 12th December 7pm till 12 midnight. \nBar open 7pm till 12 midnight. \nWe have booked Eric Robinson\, a brilliant singer who entertained us last year. \nThere will be an absolute quality two course buffet meal. \nThere will be dancing to all types of music. \nA raffle \nSinging to our famous 12 days of Christmas carol. \nSpot prizes \nAn event which if you ask anyone who came last year was  an absolutely brilliant night. The venue is great for a Christmas event. Large carpark at the side of the venue. \nBook your place £25 per person. \nThere is a Premier Inn just off the A19 / A689  Wolviston\, a couple of miles away from the venue which when I looked on the internet the double  room rate for Friday 12th December was from £43.00 \nWe still have a number of places left but book now. \nWe are collecting the money for this event\, Contact Brian Crowther.

DESCRIPTION:Updated 1st November 2025 \nGary Parker has kindly offered to do a sequal event run to the Love Heart Run of 2025. \nA very similar route to last years love heart run from Raby Castle. We cannot start from Raby so we will starting from The Cactus Cafe and Kitchen. 4\, Tillage Green Darlington. DL2 2GL. Heading towards Staindrop we will follow a similar route to last year ]s Love Heart run except for a little detour on Gary Roads to Appleby and taking slightly different roads upto Heartside. Again slightly different roads back to Raby Castle. There is an event on at the castle so we will finish there but park in the public car park. A link to a google map will be provided on the day but please make sure you have the map area saved as an off-line map in google. The meet and greet time is 9.30am at the cafe and will leave around 10am. \n  \n  \nAll details to be published ASAP
