DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone\, \nJoin us in May 2026 for Laon Historique 35 – celebrating 35 years of Laon Historique. \nWe have particiapted in this great event three times before\, in 2016\, 2017 and post covid in 2022 and had a great time. By kind invitation of Scenic & Continental Car Tours\, we have invited us to attend Laon Historique from 22nd May to Monday 25th May 2026 in order to celebrate 35 years of this wonderful event. \nThree of us have already signed up already and paid our deposits and are going\, via Eurotunnel and staying in the IBIS Laon. SCCT are offering us\, as MX5OC members and Veterans of Laon Historique a £60/car discount if referred by us\, so if you phone them\, mention Solent Area of the MX-5 Owners Club and they will apply the discount to your booking. \nDue to the early Eurotunnel departure on Friday 22nd May (08:50) we are driving down the day before and will probably stop off at Bodium Castle on route\, and stay in the Premier Inn\, Cherry Gardens\, Folkstone\, the previous night. \nThe rate is currently £95 for a room and unfortunately\, SCCT do not have an agreement with Premier Inn\, so no discount was available and this rate is without breakfast\, that can be cancelled up to 24 hours before.
