The 3 day weekend will consist of the following: \nDay 1: Meet at the Premier Inn\, Pullover Roundabout\, Kings Lynn\, PE32 1LY at 10:00hrs \nLeave Kings Lynn at 10:15 – Following the A17 to towards Boston\, then picking up the A16 at Sutterton\, we will then follow the A16 Northwards\, through the \nLincolnshire Wolds before picking up the A18\, A1173\, A180 and A15\, after crossing the Humber Bridge we will make our way towards Beverley\, Driffield and \nMalton beofre reaching our destination at the Premier Inn\, Pickering. (Note: if time allows we can make a slight detour to visit Matthewsons\, (Bangers and Cash) \nat Thornton – Le – Dale\, prior to booking in at Pickering. \nDay 2: An 80 mile journey north and over the North York Moors towards Saltburn before turning back towards Pickering on the return leg. \nDay 3: A short hop to the Eden Camp Modern History Museum\, near Malton for a tour of this most impressive and very large living history site\, before the return journey home. \n

DESCRIPTION:We are entertaining our friends from the Eastern Area. Some of them are visiting God’s Own County to experience our fantastic driving roads. To coincide with their visit the run will be on a Saturday rather than the customary Sunday. The run will leave from NY500 near Pickering and travel to Lord Stones for refreshments before heading back over the moors to the NY500 \nThis route was run earlier this year and was a success and Barry\, the A/C for Eastern has been sent the route and is looking forward to it. Full details to follow. \nMeet at NY500\,YO18 8EA\, at 10.00am for a 10.30 start. The route travels up to Lord Stones Country Park for tea/coffee and cake before heading back to the NY500. On arrival will be instructed where to park. Cafe on site.\nDriver and passenger will each get a free 30 day return ticket normally £17.50 each which we can use on the day of our visit to access the Museum Hangars\, The Workshops\, and the Swiss Gardens.\nThe Run Organiser for this event will be Ollie Newman.   We will meet at Applegreen  3 Counties Services\, just off the Warrington Roundabout near Olney\,  MK46 4JQ            to depart promptly at 9.30 am

DESCRIPTION:Run to Northumberland 16th August for the Rounders Match organised by Tyne Tees 17th August\nBrent and Gill Newbold will lead the run\, it is our intention to stay over the Saturday 16th August and leave on the 18th August\, Peaks and Pennines members will be staying at The Premier Inn at Alnwick NE66 2PF\, subject to availability. \nFrom Tyne Tees Events Page \nOur Holy Island Rounders game is definately going ahead and it’s going to be memorable. you must put this event in your diary. Tyne Tees versus Scotland rounders game the equivalent to the Ashes in cricket. We need volunteers to play for our Tyne Tees area. Mick Fisher is our team captain again. Mick also will lead our Mx-5’s on route to Holy Island. \nThe causeway to Holy Island is open from 12 noon till 20.25 according to the Northumberland County Website\, Holy Island Safe Crossing times. \nOther areas are looking to join us for this event and would love to join in and play. \nYou can attend this event and travel there and back in a day or do what we have done in the past and stay at a hotel over night. \nThe Bluebell hotel\, Belford has rooms from £98 with breakfast and free cancellation until 15th August. Book your room now as this is going to be a very popular event. Mick Fisher is sorting out with the Bluebell Hotel an evening meal on Sunday night. SUMMARY:Highland & Moray – The Cabrach Run
DESCRIPTION:Please note the date of this run has been changed and will now take place on Sunday 17th August. \nWe are planning a cicular run which will initially head east from Inverness to Buckie on A96/A98\, then head south to Rhynie on the A97 via Huntly. We will then have a run along the Cabrach to Dufftown\, before heading over to Tomintoul. Final leg will be to return to Inverness. Total route length is 180 miles\, and approx 4.5 hours of driving.  We plan regular stops along the way\, and may get tempted by one of the many whisky distilleries that we will be passing by! \nMeeting in ther DFS Car park Inverness at 10.30am on Sunday 24th August.

DESCRIPTION:The Bronte Blat \nJoy and Paul have organised a much anticipated run into the greatly acclaimed Bronte country. \nMeeting at Birch Services Eastbound on the M62 at 10:00am for a 10:30 departure. \nThe first part of the run takes us through the Pennines via Newhey\, Mytholmroyd\, Luddenden\, Mixenden and Oxenhope. After a leisurely drive we arrive at Howarth\, Bronte Village Car Park\, BD22 8QN\, where we stop for approximately 1.5 hours.
