DESCRIPTION:A run taking in some beautiful scenery around Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Full details will be posted two weeks prior to the event. \nStart at Oil Can Cafe\, Holmfirth. HD9 2RD at 10.00am for a 10.30am start. Approximately 43 miles to a comfort stop at Blaze Farm\, Wildboarclough. SK11 0BL.  The final leg is through Derbyshire\, taking in Buxton\, Monsal Head and Ladybower reservoir. This section is approximately 65 miles and finishes at Wooley Edge services M1 Northbound. WF4 4LQ. \nThis run is in memory of one of our members who sadly passed away last year and there will be a collection in aid of St. Gemma’s Hospice who cared for him in his final days. \nIf attending please email me at yorkshireridings@mx5oc.co.uk \nThis event is just for the day and not for a week as the website seems to think!

DESCRIPTION:This event has been organised by David and Sheila James which was originally planned for the previous day. Please note the change! \nThe drive runs from Carnforth Truckstop to the Ruskin Museum Car Park in Coniston. From there members can visit the museum to see the refurbished Bluebird that Sir Donald Campbell drove along the Lake. \nA walk down to the Lakeside will also provide an opportunity to take the 12.00 sailing on Coniston or to have lunch at the Bluebird Cafe there. \nParking at the Ruskin Carpark is £7.50 for the day which is similar to other parking cost in Coniston. Members will have to book tickets for the 12.00 sailing themselves which lasts an hour. Museum charges are £10.00 per person. \nThe Bluebird Cafe is at the lakeside and would make part of a 1.5 mile walk from the Ruskin Carpark to the lake\, along the shore and back to the carpark. \nWe leave Coniston at about 2.00pm to drive through Skelwith Bridge and Bowness then take the Lyth Valley road and some back lanes to finish for a coffee at Crooklands Hotel. \nTulip maps are available below and also our Facebook Page in the file section. \nPlease indicate on our Facebook page\, MX-5 Owners Club North West\, or reply on our email address\, northwest@mx5oc.co.uk\, if attending this event. \nConiston Run \n

The plan is to make our way on scenic/good driving roads to our weekend destination at The premier Inn\, Britannia Tce\, Porthmadog\, LL49 9NB.
