DESCRIPTION:This is a run to the Midland Air Museum\, Rowley Rd\, Baginton. Warwickshire CV3 4FR \nWe’ll meet at Mursley Farm Shop\, Whaddon Rd\, Mursley at 10:00 and park together in the car park (to the left).  We aim to depart at 10:30. \nIf you wish to have a Breakfast or just a coffee\, please arrive at 09:00 (as it gets very busy at weekends). \nThe run will be approx. 1.5hrs and approx. 50 miles. \nThere is a charge of £10.50 for adults or £9.75 for OAP/Students to enter the museum\, details can be found using this link Midland Air Museum \nWe have stated a finish time but this is entirely based on how long you stay at the Museum \n  \nThe Museum is located near Baginton Village on Rowley Road\, adjacent to the northern boundary of Coventry Airport\, south of the A45. We’re easy to find and the Museum is well signposted from the A45. Once on the road between the A45 roundabout and Baginton village you can’t miss us\, or our Vulcan! \nFree car parking is provided for up to 100 vehicles (including coaches)\, with several spaces closest to the entrance reserved for Disabled Badge holders.

I have entry forms which I can send to you upon your request to attend. Entry forms must be to them by 3rd May. No late entries will be accepted. Our entry forms you must print MX-5 Owners Club at the top and the returning stamped addressed envelope must also be A5 size. The return address to send our forms is GYTEC 2025. PO Box 245. Catterick Garrison. North Yorkshire. DL10 9FE. All our cars for this event must be in place by 10am so it will be a meet & greet at 7.45am for a 8am run start from the Manor House\, Maltby to get to Duncombe park for approximately 9am giving ourselves plenty of time to get into position. \nI will send out via your booking email in my monthly email the appication form. DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern region for a drive and visit to Caister Castle and Motor Museum\, via the award winning village of Filby to probably the largest and certainly the best privately owned motor collection open to the public in the UK. With very many fine and rare veteran\, vintage\, classic\, sports and touring automobiles and motorcycles\, the collection contains more than 120 cars and 100 bikes and ranges from an 1893 Panhard et Levassor\, the first real car in the world – through to a 1990’s customised Harley Davidson. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nVarious steam cars and electric vehicles are included\, as well as Jim Clark’s Lotus\, Peter Rachman’s Cadillac and the very first Ford Fiesta. Displayed in a purpose built exhibition centre recently extended from approx. 25\,000 sq ft to almost double the size at 35\,000 sq ft\, the collection is complemented by displays of bicycles\, horse-drawn vehicles\, baby carriages\, pedal cars and other related items.

DESCRIPTION:Book your place HERE Booking closes 6pm on Thursday July 3rd. \nStarting at The Stockyard\, Hellaby (because the grubs better !) at 9:15\, leaving at 10:00\, our route takes us mainly on scenic A and B Roads north to The Fenton Café and Grill\, located deep within the former RAF Church Fenton base for our mid morning stop. \nAn unexpected bonus is that its Spitfire day at the Airport\, a commercially preserved Spitfire FR9 \,will be flying in and out\, offering a 30 Minute Spitfire flight experience in the sky’s about Leeds & York\, for those with £3350 to spare. \nFrom there we head north mainly on B roads to the York Ring Road\, shortly after passing The Highway Man Café on the A64 we will turn left into the grounds of Castle Howard and proceed past the memorial column onto the five mile straight\, then we pass through several picture postcard villages. \nThen its briefly onto the A 170 and down into Helmsley turning left onto the long private drive leading to Duncombe Park\, \nThe Steam and Vintage Rally field is on the left\, if Steam is not your thing turn right into The National Birds of Prey Centre. Car park. \nGroup Admission prices have been negotiated at both venues\, £10.00 per car at the Rally and £13.50 per person At The National Birds of Prey Centre (*see Alan for a discount voucher) \nThe suggested return route is via Helmsley\, Kirby Moorside\, Pickering\, Old Norton\, Malton\, Buttercrambe then to the A64 and M1 or A19 and M18 \nOr you could book into The Premier Inn in Pickering and go for a a curry and a pint – if the Landlady will have us back in !! \nBoth venues require numbers please register to come on this run using The Eventbrite Booking System\, the closing date is 6pm on Thursday July 3rd. \nAlan Round has kindly volunteered to lead this run. \nRoute Card Stockyard to Cafe Fenton \nRoute Card Cafe Fenton to Dunscombe Park \n

DESCRIPTION:Jim & Jayne’s “1st Annual Wild Goose Chase” “Run” \nDate – Sunday July 6th\nMeeting place – Lerryn Car Park (it’s free too !)\nTime – 2:30pm meet up for 3:00pm (-ish) start\nLerryn has decent facilities – The Ship Inn Lerryn for those that might want lunch or refreshments beforehand\, a small shop for snacks/teas (they shut at 3pm) and there is a village green with picnic benches for those that want to bring their own lunch\nPublic toilets are nearby (they are free too !)\nThose that fancy a pub meal beforehand – please organise that amongst yourselves – you know who you are ? \nWhat to expect – \nThere are no rules ! There is no set route to follow ! \nYou can work alone\, in couples\, in teams or just follow the car in front \nOn the day\, you will be given the clues to 6 or so puzzles to “solve” … but a few days before the run I will send out a series of “what3words” locations which will help plan a route for those “adventurers” who wish to use Sat Navs along with a brief map for those that want to plot a route on an old school road map. These will guide you to various locations in the Lerryn\, Bodmin\, St. Neot\, Dobwalls area. These locations will guide you to an area where you can park up and hunt for the answers which will be no more than 50 yds away and not one should take more than 5 mins to locate. \nThe run will take approx 2 hours (depending on how clever you are) and cover around 30 miles to finish back in Lerryn for a cheeky drink in the village pub for the “prize” giving ceremony !

DESCRIPTION:Tony and Judith Kerr are organising this run through Cheshire and East Wales. \nMeeting at Lymm Truckstop\, WA13 0SP\, 10:00am for 10:30 start. \nThe morning drive will take us through Cheshire skirting Delemere Forest and Oulton Park to our coffee stop at a marina where you can enjoy views of the canal and its narrow boats. \nContinuing through Cheshire we will venture into Wales for a lunch stop at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal World Heritage Site. Here you have the choice of a pub lunch at the Telford Arms\, a lighter bite at Pontcysyllte tearooms or maybe bring your own lunch and chairs for a picnic by the canal. We will then head off on some minor roads to pick up the A19\, A172 and then back to Middlesbrough District Motor Club. \nRoute is approximately 75 miles but may vary slightly.
