SUMMARY:North West – Skipton - The Other Way Round Run
DESCRIPTION:Rod and Mandy present a winter run of around 2.5 hours to Skipton where you will have plenty of time to enjoy a good lunch\, do some shopping or have a pleasant walk along the canal – or indeed all three!\n\nMeeting at McDonalds\, 581 Blackburn Road\, Accrington BB5 2SB at 10:00 for a 10:30 departure we skirt around the edges of Burnley to Worsthorne and then along some minor lanes to Trawden. We then take the old Skipton road over the tops where you will observe great views over North Yorkshire and Lancashire before turning onto Lothersdale road heading towards Skipton.\n\nFor the return journey you can either make your own way home or follow a group led by Rod who will head for Carlton and back over the old Skipton road before finishing at the M65.\n\nTulip Map to follow on our Facebook page.\n\nPlease note this run may be postponed should particularly bad weather conditions prevail. In this eventuality a post will be made on Facebook on the evening before the run.

Entry to the cafe is allowed for those who do not want to go round the museum.\nThe National Motorcycle Museum is recognised as the finest and largest British motorcycle museum in the world. It occupies an 8-acre site in Bickenhill\, Solihull\, England and holds over 1\,000 motorcycles from 171 different manufacturers spanning no less than three centuries. \nOne of the biggest attractions for many guests is the comprehensive cross-section of British machines\, spanning the “60 Glorious Year” of motorcycle manufacturing in this country. \nThere is a cafe at the museum serving food such as hot snacks\, soup\, rolls\, paninis\, cold sandwiches\, cakes etc (only cakes after 3pm) with hot and cold drinks.
