(Next to IKEA) \n10am meet for 10.15 Briefing and 10:30 Departure. \nThis is an approx 45mile run\, that will take approx 2hr\, to Waterperry Gardens\, near Wheatley Oxfordshire\, OX33 1JZ to enjoy the Fritillary season and the rest of the beautiful riverside gardens. There is a Cafe’ on site so a lunch or lite bite can be purchased.\nThere are also a number of other attractions and shops to enjoy. \nThe route will snake westward from Bletchley\, North of Buckingham to Stowe and then south\, skirting the eastern edge of Bicester and on southward to Waterperry. All via A and B roads. \nFull navigation Instructions are provided and there is the possibility of a GPX route download\, if you are familiar with the bikeGPX phone App. \nMore Info about Waterperry Gardens: \nMade famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971\, it’s now home to 20 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens\, a quality plant centre and garden shop\, gallery and gift shop\, museum and tea shop. \nSee the county flower of Oxfordshire in all its native splendour as it flowers in our wildflower meadow and riverside walk throughout April. \nPLEASE NOTE:\nThere is an entrance charge of £12.50pp (Adult) to enter the landscaped Gardens\, where the Fritillary’s are located\, but access to the rest of the estate\, including the Tea Room\, and a number of shops is free. \nPlease note dogs are allowed on a short lead around the estate and garden centre but are NOT allowed within the paid entrance ornamental gardens.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday 20th April 2025:     Pageant of Transport – Weston-Super-Mare Sea Front.\n \nVenue: Beach Lawns\, Weston-super-Mare\, Somerset\, BS23 1AT\nTime: 09:00 – 17:00 (Cars need to be on site by 09:30)\nMeeting Point: Michaelwood Services M5 Southbound\nDepart: 08:00 to drive down and park together\nFor details about the Pageant click here\n\nArrival on site no later than 09:30 \nThe event is situated on the beach lawns in Weston-super-Mare right next to the seafront. Traditionally it has been a show for classic cars but as its Pageant of Transport they would like to see a whole variety of transport options. Cars\, motorbikes\, tractors\, lorries\, buses & military vehicles. Anything of interest is certainly welcome.\nVehicle entry onto the lawns is £7.50 per vehicle per day (plus .75 booking fee).\nThe event is run by and in aid of which is Weston-super-Mare Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets.\nTickets are on sale now via the web site below on a first come first served basis.\nThere is also an option to buy a commemorative plaque (£7.50) online with your entry tickets\, the commemorative plaques will be available to pick up at the Sea Cadets tents over the event day so just bring a copy of your ticket so we can hand over your plaque to you. \nNote: The pageant is over two days so make sure you select tickets for SUNDAY 20th April. DESCRIPTION:A trip to the Avro Heritage Museum in Stockport. After the success of last year’s joint venture we have decided to organise another. This will be a joint meeting along with P&P\, Tyne Tees an North West areas. \nWe will meet at Hartshead Moor services (westbound) at 10.00am\, and leave there at 10.45am. the journey will take about 1 hr 15 mins depending on traffic. As it is a fairly straightforward route there will be no tulip map but most of you will have sat nav or google maps on your phones. \nAs a rough guide: M62 to J18\, M60 to J3\, join A34 Cheadle-Wilmslow. Then A555 Buxton and finally A5102 Bramall to Chester Road and Lancastrian Way. \nAt the time of writing ticket cost is £9 adult\, £7 over 60s\, £5 for children 11 to 16. Under 11s free.
