SUMMARY:Highland & Moray – Tain Vintage Car Rally
DESCRIPTION:  \nTain Classic Car Show – final instructions \nThe Tain Vintage Car Rally takes place on Sunday 22nd June\, and we have a club stand for this event. At the moment we have twelve cars attending the event\, and the list is below. Please check and ensure you are on the list as we need to have individual event passes for all cars to access the showground. However\, there is still time to join us just drop us an email or register on the event section of our Facebook page if you want to come along. \nWe will aim to meet up in the Asda car park in Tain at 9am on Sunday 22nd June where exhibitor passes will be distributed. We will then proceed to the showground in convoy no later than 9.15. If for any reason you have to cancel on the day then please let me know on 07853 941742. \nNormally the marshals are very good and just wave us into the showground and direct us to our allocated space.  Once in we will then take a little time to position the cars appropriately for the space provided. This year we have a new club shelter and banners\, so some volunteers are always appreciated to get these up. All the club stands are judged so we always like to make a good impression. \nEverything needs to be setup for 10am as that is when the event opens to the public. There are always loads of things to see at this show from classic cars \, motorcycles and many clubs in attendance. A unique feature of Tain is the opportunity to drive around the showring and tell everybody about your cars. \nAt the end of the event everybody is invited back to our house which is only 10 mins south of Tain (postcode IV18 0SF or clerics.vision.fidgeted on what3words). Gillian will be preparing some light refreshments for everybody. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the MX-5 Owners Club\, North West Area\, will be displaying a selection of members cars at the Classic and Performance Motor Show\, Hoghton Tower\, Preston\, on Sunday 29th June 2025. \nThe North West will have a stand on the lawns facing the iconic Hoghton Tower which has played host to King James 1st\, Dickens and Shakespeare. This will be our first show at Hoghton Towers although we have exhibited at other shows organised by the Great British Motor Shows in the past\, being at Lytham Hall and Leighton Hall\, each have been very successful. \nWe will be showing 10 cars from Mk 1 (NA) through to RF. The show will have a huge selection of classic and performance cars which may remind you of your youthful years and could be very nostalgic if maybe you once owned a particular model on show. \nYou should be guaranteed a great day out. Admission cost are £12.50 per adult on the day\, or £9.50 in advance online. See the link below for more information. ALL events can be found on our website.These events can be attended by all who own or have an interest in specialist motors or for those who simply want to come along and enjoy the spectacle in a picturesque countryside setting. If you have a keen interest in photography either amateur and professional\, we encourage you to visit on one of our evenings and share your captures with us via our social media channels.Our Evening Meets are FREE to attend but we ask that you please support our family business\, so these events can continue\, by purchasing food and/or drink on the night! We will be serving takeaway food including our renowned Lashford Sausage Baps\, or our vegan alternative warm Vegetable Samosas. We are fully licensed and we have a specially chosen selection of local beers and ciders as well as a variety of soft beverages available. DESCRIPTION:This is a run to the Midland Air Museum\, Rowley Rd\, Baginton. Warwickshire CV3 4FR \nWe’ll meet at Mursley Farm Shop\, Whaddon Rd\, Mursley at 10:00 and park together in the car park (to the left).  We aim to depart at 10:30. \nIf you wish to have a Breakfast or just a coffee\, please arrive at 09:00 (as it gets very busy at weekends). \nThe run will be approx. 1.5hrs and approx. 50 miles. \nThere is a charge of £10.50 for adults or £9.75 for OAP/Students to enter the museum\, details can be found using this link Midland Air Museum \nWe have stated a finish time but this is entirely based on how long you stay at the Museum \n  \nThe Museum is located near Baginton Village on Rowley Road\, adjacent to the northern boundary of Coventry Airport\, south of the A45. We’re easy to find and the Museum is well signposted from the A45. Once on the road between the A45 roundabout and Baginton village you can’t miss us\, or our Vulcan! \nFree car parking is provided for up to 100 vehicles (including coaches)\, with several spaces closest to the entrance reserved for Disabled Badge holders.
