SUMMARY:Yorkshire Ridings – The Daffodil Dale Run
DESCRIPTION:A Run of the Year winner from 2017is being re-run by Richard & Antonia Hirst. Meet at Wetherby Services on the A1\, LS22 5GT at 10.00am for a 10.30am start. There will be a safety briefing beforehand. First stop will be at Sutton Bank Glider Club\, YO7 2EY. The route then heads to Kirkbymoorside car park\, YO62 6AS for 20-30 minutes. Please make sure you register your car at the pay/display machine\, parking is free for 1 hour between 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm.The route then travels through Farndale ( The Daffodil Dale) to a stop at Castle Howard\, YO60 7DA. SUMMARY:Yorkshire Ridings – Avro Museum visit
DESCRIPTION:A trip to the Avro Heritage Museum in Stockport. After the success of last year’s joint venture we have decided to organise another. This will be a joint meeting along with P&P\, Tyne Tees an North West areas. \nWe will meet at Hartshead Moor services (westbound) at 10.00am\, and leave there at 10.45am. the journey will take about 1 hr 15 mins depending on traffic. As it is a fairly straightforward route there will be no tulip map but most of you will have sat nav or google maps on your phones. \nAs a rough guide: M62 to J18\, M60 to J3\, join A34 Cheadle-Wilmslow. Then A555 Buxton and finally A5102 Bramall to Chester Road and Lancastrian Way. \nAt the time of writing ticket cost is £9 adult\, £7 over 60s\, £5 for children 11 to 16. Under 11s free.
