SUMMARY:Peaks and Pennines Social Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our Club Social Meetings are held at The Rockingham Arms\, Wentworth S62 7TL and held in The Restaurant; which we have the exclusive use of\, and is accessed in the main building. Please order your Food and Drink in the main bar before proceeding to The Retaurant\, the Rockingham Arms offers good quality pub food\, hand pulled beers and we enjoy a private room for our meeting. \nMeeting starts at 8:15pm\, Many members come early for a meal starting from around 6:30pm. \nAdditional off road parking is in the Wentworth Village Car Park  What3words ref. ///text.videos.alpha \nMeetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. \nIf you are new to the Peaks and Pennines area or have been a member for some time and never got around to coming to a meeting\, come along and join us.\nOur meetings are open to members and prospective members\, just come along with your MX-5 or other car. DESCRIPTION:Run to Northumberland 16th August for the Rounders Match organised by Tyne Tees 17th August\nBrent and Gill Newbold will lead the run\, it is our intention to stay over the Saturday 16th August and leave on the 18th August\, Peaks and Pennines members will be staying at The Premier Inn at Alnwick NE66 2PF\, subject to availability. \nFrom Tyne Tees Events Page \nOur Holy Island Rounders game is definately going ahead and it’s going to be memorable. you must put this event in your diary. Tyne Tees versus Scotland rounders game the equivalent to the Ashes in cricket. We need volunteers to play for our Tyne Tees area. Mick Fisher is our team captain again. Mick also will lead our Mx-5’s on route to Holy Island. \nThe causeway to Holy Island is open from 12 noon till 20.25 according to the Northumberland County Website\, Holy Island Safe Crossing times. \nOther areas are looking to join us for this event and would love to join in and play. \nYou can attend this event and travel there and back in a day or do what we have done in the past and stay at a hotel over night. \nThe Bluebell hotel\, Belford has rooms from £98 with breakfast and free cancellation until 15th August. Book your room now as this is going to be a very popular event. Mick Fisher is sorting out with the Bluebell Hotel an evening meal on Sunday night.
