DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone\, \nLATEST UPDATE Monday 15th September: Please see updated itinerary for our day. \nLATEST UPDATE: Sorry FULLY BOOKED \nCath and David invite you to join them on a Drive to Thornbridge Hall and Gardens\, which includes a Private House Tour and a Cream Tea on Thursday 18th September 2025. \nWe will be meeting at Fairways Garden Centre\, Clifton\, Ashbourne\, DE6 2GN from 9.30am to depart at approximately 10.45am. The cafe will be open for you to have a late breakfast or a drink before we start our drive. \nWe should arrive at Thornbridge Estate at around 12.15pm. Our Cream Tea in the Quackers Cafe will be in a reserved area in their Cafe at 12.30pm\, with a choice of sweet or savory homemade scone’s. With time to look around the gardens before the House Tour at 2.00pm. There will be time to visit the gardens after your house tour. The gardens and cafe close at 4.00pm. \nThis is an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens and expansive views surrounding an eccentric stately home in the heart of the Peak District. This is also the home of the famous Bakewell Love Locks. \nThe famously quirky Thornbridge Hall is surrounded by quintessentially English formal gardens.
