DESCRIPTION:Our Club Social Meetings are held at The Rockingham Arms\, Wentworth S62 7TL and held in The Restaurant; which we have the exclusive use of\, and is accessed in the main building. Please order your Food and Drink in the main bar before proceeding to The Retaurant\, the Rockingham Arms offers good quality pub food\, hand pulled beers and we enjoy a private room for our meeting. \nMeeting starts at 8:15pm\, Many members come early for a meal starting from around 6:30pm. \nAdditional off road parking is in the Wentworth Village Car Park  What3words ref. ///text.videos.alpha \nMeetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. \nIf you are new to the Peaks and Pennines area or have been a member for some time and never got around to coming to a meeting\, come along and join us.\nOur meetings are open to members and prospective members\, just come along with your MX-5 or other car. SUMMARY:Peaks and Pennines – Run organised by Paul Graham and Simon Westerby
DESCRIPTION:Movember MX-5 Madness Charity Run 16/11/2025 \n\n\nNovembers run is a 70 mile drive through the Pennines\, we are very pleased to have a very compact route with some stunning views of the area. \n\n\nThe run will start from Dearne Valley Farm Public House at Birdwell just off Junction 36 of the M1. We will meet at 09:00\, the pub is open for breakfasts and hot drinks. After a brief drivers meeting\, the 1st group to be leaving at 09:45. \n\n\nThere will be a halfway comfort break at the Pennine Garden Centre\, at Shelley. This should be around 11:00-11:15\, they have an excellent cafe and we expect to be there for an hour. \n\n\nThe second half will once again take us out on the backroads and we will finish the Run at the National Mining Museum\, near Wakefield. This should be around 14:30. \n\n\nWe have taken the decision for this run to support the Mens Prostrate & Testicular Cancer Awareness Charity  \n\n\nFor those of you who don’t know\, Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues. As this may be a little short notice and not everyone will be able to grow the moustaches in time. We have have procured a number of false moustaches. \n\n\nThese will be on sale for a donation to the charity\, we thought a £1 Cash minimum donation would be acceptable. \n\n\nWe would like to get as many people as possible to wear one on the day and help the charity. \n\n  \nMovember Run 1st Half InstructionsP&P Movember Run 2nd Half Instructions
